Stanley Sibanda has a distinctive style, characterised by his use of a palette knife to create simplified and emotive scenes of African daily events, scenes, themes and atmospheres around Zimbabwe.
Stanley grew up experiencing urban and rural life, finally settling down to study art at the Mzilikazi Art and Craft Centre in Bulawayo in 1990. He specialised in fine arts. Working mainly in oils, he portrays life on rural farms, wildlife and everyday events.
